About Us
We are located in Bend Oregon and specialize in making the types of beers that brewer's love to drink: clean lagers and bright IPAs. We were founded in 2021 and are brewer owned and operated.
Mark Henion, Dana Henion and John Van Duzer are the three founding brewers. With a combined 65+ years of brewing experience, they have brewed all over the Northwest, most notably at Boneyard Beer. At Boneyard, Mark was the Master Brewer, John the Head brewer at the Lake Place location, and Dana was a production brewer. Prior to meeting Mark while brewing at Ninkasi in 2012, Dana started her brewing career at Oakshire Brewing in 2009. Mark and John’s friendship and brewing careers began at Deschutes Brewery in 1994. Mark was the Head brewer there until his departure in 2003. The three of them have been working closely for the last seven years, and are excited to put their talent into some new delicious beers for Bend and Oregon!
